I was outside watching the dogs wrestle in the dirt this morning when Cooper came barreling at me, slamming right into my shin. It felt like someone hit me with a bat. Now I have a knotty bruise the size of a softball on my leg.
Cats don't do that.

No, they don't. But on the other hand, have I ever shown you the scar across my eyebrow from where Baby Clyde used my face* as a launching pad? It's pretty gnarly, even four years later.
(*He did this unknowingly, of course - I more or less put myself in his path in a pitch-black apartment.)

As Kate said, cats can inflict other injuries. I have a scar on my face from a bite when I was a little girl.
And I don't just call Scout the "evil Siamese" for nothing...

We have a new puppy - named Cooper too! He is a sweetie but is teething and is nipping the heck outta me, all the time. Our cats appear well-behaved next to him!
